Traditional Irish Music arranged for the hammered dulcimer

This page provides the music score for the tunes from The Coming of Spring as well as other Irish traditional tunes, either because they are good tunes for the dulcimer or they provide examples of ornamentation. Where there is significant development of the tune, I have included a "bare-bones" version first, then the variations. (Note: I will eventually provide the *.abc format for the rest of the tunes.)

Note: As soon as possible, I will provide the music score for the tunes from The Curlews.

For each tune, you have the following options for viewing/printing:

Musical score formatted for online viewing; printable from your browser but the quality may not be very good. (avg file size, 35k)

Download score in zipped *.pcx format, import *.pcx to word processor for high quality printing, use WinZip to extract (avg file size, 24k)

Copy the displayed ASCII to a file as *.abc; use ABC2Win to edit, print high quality score, and/or play the tune on your PC (avg file size, < 1k)
